Starting to plan our new garden

The weather here has been just gorgeous! It already feels like Spring here in Colorado. We've always heard that you can plant PEAS on St. Patrick's Day and that is quickly approaching.
So...its time to start planning our planting season!

So far we know we'd like:

CUCUMBERS
TOMATOES
LETTUCES
CARROTS
WATERMELON
GREEN BEANS

Flowers

This year we might even become sellers at our local Farmer's Market!
The kids are really really interested in this, so we'll see!

Our one cucumber was delicious!

Doesn't this look like a commercial for Ranch dressing?

this plate was cleaned in under one minute!

can you tell we have tomatoes coming out our ears?

this is nearly how much we picked every day! Next year we might try selling at the farmer's market!

would you buy some from a cute fellow like this? :)

they all come from this monster of a plant!

if you're our friend, you get them for free!

Close to the end of the season

This is what we picked from the garden today...

Aren't these beautiful?!!!

Here's our baby helping herself to a fresh picked basket of tomatoes from the garden tonight

Why not start her early? :)

The garden is at its peak

Our friend, Chris took this family pic for us.
He's in our area for a month as he has some AF training nearby. We've known his family for 7+ years now.
Today we are going to harvest some of our corn and share
