Our one cucumber was delicious!

Doesn't this look like a commercial for Ranch dressing?

this plate was cleaned in under one minute!

can you tell we have tomatoes coming out our ears?

this is nearly how much we picked every day! Next year we might try selling at the farmer's market!

would you buy some from a cute fellow like this? :)

they all come from this monster of a plant!

if you're our friend, you get them for free!

Close to the end of the season

This is what we picked from the garden today...

The garden is at its peak

Our friend, Chris took this family pic for us.
He's in our area for a month as he has some AF training nearby. We've known his family for 7+ years now.
Today we are going to harvest some of our corn and share

Caleb gets the first ear

Silly heads!

Mom & Elisa pick corn together too

Elisa decided to taste the husks

She thinks the corn is better~

Chris joined us for a "peeling the husks" party!

WE LOVE TOMATOES

Joshua and I love tomatoes! Up until this growing season, I (Joy) was really the only one in the family who liked them. Things have now changed...I have to share my lovely tomatoes with this little guy- Joshy! Its a wonderful "problem" though :) I certainly can't complain that my two year old is constantly picking and EATING the tomatoes before I can even get to them...fresh off the vine! That's the way to go!

Joshua is loving the grape, olive, & Roma tomatoes...he and I are going to be fighting over them soon! Yum! At least he knows to not pick until he finds a red one!

The start of our new garden...at HOME!!!

Daddy made us some new garden boxes for our own backyard. We're planning to use the "square foot gardening method"
